PASSIVE VOICE

 What is Passive Voice?

When we speak or write, we usually use the active voice (Subject+Verb+Object, e.g. I like to eat pizza) but it also exists passive voice but it is used when we want to emphasize or to show interest in the person or object that performs the action.

The structure is the following:

(Object + Verb + subject)

It also tells us what is done to someone or something.

-Some examples could be:

-The video was posted online by Stephan.

-The movie was directed by Steven Spielberg.


It is important to know the passive voice is present in all verb tenses, you can see it in the following image.
